The purpose of this seminar is to deepen our students’ understanding of senior form History assessment and enrich their knowledge of History in the 20th century.

History students’ assessment seminar was held on Tuesday, 30th October 2018. The seminar started at 3:45 p.m. and lasted for 2 hours in our school lecture room. We were honoured to have the presence of Dr. Yeung Wing-yu, Assessment Development Division, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority as the Guest-of-Honour at this seminar.

The purpose of this seminar is to deepen our students’ understanding of senior form History assessment and enrich their knowledge of History in the 20th century. All our S4 to S6 History students attended the seminar and they were deeply enlightened by Dr. Yeung’s speech. During this seminar, not only did Dr. Yeung coherently explain senior form History assessment model, but he also raised critical questions about the study of history. Dr. Yeung was impressed with the high-ordered questions asked by our students and he praised some of students who were able to provide thought provoking responses.
