S4 Local Exchange Program

From March 3 to 6 this school year, our school hosted the Local Exchange Program, welcoming eight students from Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School and seven from Kowloon True Light School. During the four-day event, our Form 4 students served as dedicated buddies, guiding the exchange students into classrooms to experience the vibrant learning atmosphere at Queen Elizabeth School (QES). A welcome lunch on the first day allowed everyone to share life stories amidst laughter, quickly bridging the gap between the students.

In the following days, a series of enriching activities was organized to deepen these cross-school friendships. Our students first engaged in an English debate match with Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School, followed by a lively session of the traditional sport, shuttlecock kicking. On the third day, a friendly Chinese debate was held with Kowloon True Light School, where both sides demonstrated agile thinking and eloquence. After school, the students jointly participated in a STEAM workshop, exchanging insights on scientific and technological explorations.

On the final day, a heartwarming sharing session brought students from all three schools together to reflect on the memorable moments shared. Before parting ways, they exchanged heartfelt cards and souvenirs, leaving a beautiful mark on this short but precious fellowship. This program not only benefited the students immensely but also successfully showcased the unique campus culture of QES. We eagerly anticipate more exchange opportunities in the future to continue cultivating such genuine friendships.
