Zhaoqing Study Tour

Date: 7 - 8 November, 2025
Location: Zhaoqing

Participants: S2 Students (Whole form)

On November 7th and 8th, our school joined the ¡§Mainland Exchange Program¡¨ organized by the Education Bureau. Our school arranged for Secondary 2 students to participate in its Zhaoqing Study Tour on Natural Landforms and Conservation. This program was designed to offer students diverse learning opportunities beyond the classroom, helping them gain a deeper understanding of mainland China's historical culture, educational development, and environmental protection efforts, while also strengthening their sense of national identity.

During the first day, students visited Zhaoqing No.1 Middle School. Both groups of students engaged actively in exchanges, sharing their school life and personal experiences, which enhanced mutual understanding. On the second day, the group carried out field studies at the famous Seven Star Crags and Dinghu Mountain scenic areas. At Seven Star Crags, students explored the distinctive karst landscape, while at Dinghu Mountain and Butterfly Valley, they observed a rich variety of ecological scenery. These experiences helped them recognize the vital importance of nature conservation.

Through this journey, students stepped out of their regular classrooms to experience the wonders of nature firsthand. It deepened their awareness of sustainable development and ecological preservation, making the trip a truly rewarding experience for all participants.
