September 1 marks the beginning of the new academic year, as all teachers and students gather for the opening ceremony, eagerly anticipating the start of the school year. Principal Iu began by commending the 25FA students for their exceptional achievements in the 2025 HKDSE, motivating all students to strive for excellence in their studies. Principal Iu also highlighted the impressive accomplishments of students in various areas, such as sports and leadership training, showcasing their diverse talents and all-rounded development. This served to encourage students to continue to unleash their potential and confront new challenges with courage in this new school year.

Following this, Assistant Principal Chow took the stage to introduce the school major concern 1, urging students to take own initiative in their learning and become active learners. Assistant Principal Law then presented the school major concern 2, discussing the Seven Learning Goals of Secondary Education and Twelve Priority Values and Attitudes in an engaging and inspiring manner. He actively promoted reading, sharing recommendations for great books. Several S6 students were guided by Assistant Principal Law to deliver speech and performances on the stage which illustrate how reading allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the world and promotes comprehensive personal development for all students.
