From June 22 to July 2, 2025, 3 of our teachers Ms. Cheung YP, Mr. Chiang LF and Mr. Chan CM with 30 of our students embarked on a Germany study tour, exploring different cities and tourist attractions. With culture and math and science being the main themes in the study tour, the tour covered many tourist attractions such as museums as well as city centers to explore the culture and atmosphere in Germany.
The tour began with an exploration of the Cologne Cathedral, and then the chocolate museum in Cologne. Then they visited the Klutherthohle cave in Ennepetal, and toured the city centers of Dusseldorf and Frankfurt on the second and third days after arrival. After that, they explored the Experimenta Science Center and the Mathematikum (Mathematics Museum). They then visited the Heidelberg Castle, and then Stuttgart, with the Mercedes-Benz Museum and the Carl-Zeiss Planetarium being the highlights in the city. Finally, they visited Munich, visiting the Allianz Arena, the ISM (International School of Management) campus, and the Nymphenburg Palace.

Through the styles and architectures shown in the buildings and the city centers and exhibitions related to history, as well as different experiences during the tour, the tour allowed students to appreciate European culture and how the history in Europe affected the culture there.

They also enriched their understanding of math and science by visiting museums and popular science exhibitions related to these fields, exploring the scientific and mathematical origins of different phenomena in the exhibitions that stimulate studentsˇ¦ interest in further exploring the field of science.
