Visit from College of International Studies, Southwest University

Date: 28 March 2025

Venue: Queen Elizabeth School

On March 28, 2025, Professor ZHANG and Professor YANG from College of International Studies, Southwest University led 6 students from the English Education Department to Queen Elizabeth School for a meaningful academic exchange.

The principal welcomed the visiting faculty and students, then guided the guests on a tour of the campus, allowing them to gain insights into the teaching environment and facilities at Queen Elizabeth School.
During the exchange, the visiting faculty and students observed an English class at our school. Teacher Ms MA Wing-kwok provided guidance on how to write a group discussion presentation in English, effectively utilizing electronic teaching tools to interact with the students and collect their responses in real-time, enhancing classroom interactivity and engagement.

Following this, students were grouped for practical exercises, attempting to write and share their own presentations. The guests engaged with the students, learning about their learning situations and asking about their learning.

After class, the teachers and guests held a seminar to share their learning experiences and insights. Professor Zhang expressed gratitude for the arrangements made by Queen Elizabeth School and noted that this exchange was significant for the students who are about to become English teachers.
