From March 12 to 15, 2025, Principal IU Kok-kin, along with teachers Ms. CHENG Wing-chit, Ms. MA Wing-kwok, and 30 students participated in an enlightening learning experience—a study tour to Chongqing, China. This four-day trip allowed participants to not only appreciate the breathtaking landscapes of Chongqing but also gain deep insights into the city's cultural heritage and technological advancements while fostering friendly exchanges with our sister school, Chongqing No. 1 Secondary School.

On the first day, the group took the Yangtze River Cableway, enjoying stunning views of the city, and later explored the famous Hongyadong, immersing themselves in the unique charm of this mountainous city. The second day was the long-awaited visit to Chongqing No. 1 Secondary School, where teachers and students engaged in campus tours and educational discussions, strengthening the bond between the two schools. The afternoon was spent in Ciqikou Ancient Town, sampling local delicacies and experiencing traditional street culture.
The third day was all about the exploration of nature and history. Students visited the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, gaining insights into the rich history of our country. After lunch, they couldn’t wait to embrace the Jinfo Mountain National Forest Park, where the dense fog created a mystical atmosphere reminiscent of a fairyland. On the final day, the group visited the Chongqing Science and Technology Museum, deepening their understanding of the city’s innovations in science.

This study tour to Chongqing not only enriched our understanding of the city’s unique natural landscapes and cultural beauty but also strengthened our ties with Chongqing No. 1 Secondary School, broadening our horizons in science and culture, making it an unforgettable and fulfilling experience.
