On February 14, 2025, students from Class S3A participated in an enlightening learning activity¡Xa visit to the Citybus Chai Wan Depot. During this two-hour activity, the students gained in-depth insights into the operations of Citybus and its future development plans, while also experiencing experiments related to new energy technologies. The activity was rich in content and highly inspiring.

The activity began with a professional introduction by Citybus personnel, providing students with background information about the Chai Wan Depot and its daily operations. Students learned how the depot plays a vital role in logistics support, bus maintenance, and technological innovation.

Next, the students attended a session on Citybus's future development, focusing particularly on the exploration of new energy buses. The presentation covered the mechanisms of hybrid buses and hydrogen-powered buses. The detailed and engaging explanation gave students a deeper understanding of sustainable transportation development.

Tour of the Depot
During the depot tour, students visited the Engineering Department, Maintenance Department, Energy Department, and Energy Laboratory. They observed the bus maintenance process firsthand and learned about energy management and experimental technology applications.

Hydrogen Energy Experiments
The highlight of the activity was the hydrogen energy experiments, including hydrogen power generation and hydrogen load testing. Under the guidance of professionals, students observed the experimental processes and gained a tangible understanding of how hydrogen energy technology is applied in the transportation sector.

This visit provided students with not only professional knowledge about the bus industry but also a deeper understanding of how new energy technologies drive sustainable urban development.
