Our school's Aviation Technology Learning Studio, established with sponsorship from the Quality Education Fund, recently opened to the public again following its open day in May. We invited students from CCC Heep Woh Primary School to participate in an aviation technology experience. The event took place on September 23 and 24, 2024, with 51 sixth-grade students attending the two-day program filled with rich content, introducing primary school students to the wonderful world of aviation technology.

During the event, teachers from Queen Elizabeth School explained the history of aviation technology development and the principles of flight, giving students a basic understanding of aviation knowledge. Subsequently, students had the opportunity to operate flight simulators, experiencing the thrill of piloting an aircraft. This immersive learning experience not only sparked students' interest in aviation technology but also cultivated their spatial awareness skills.

In addition to the simulated flight experience, students learned drone control techniques and related safety precautions. Under the guidance of professional teachers, the primary school students experienced the joy of controlling drones firsthand while also recognizing the importance of safe operation.

Through this event, aviation technology knowledge was disseminated to more students. This not only broadened students' horizons but also laid a foundation for their potential future involvement in aviation-related fields.

Teachers from CCC Heep Woh Primary School highly praised the event, believing that this cross-school collaborative learning model greatly enriched the students' learning experiences. The participating students expressed that this experience sparked a strong interest in aviation technology, and they hope to have more opportunities to learn related knowledge in the future.

Our school will continue to leverage the role of the Aviation Technology Learning Studio to provide high-quality STEAM education resources for more students, helping to cultivate a new generation of technology talents.
