On September 26, 2024, Educators and Education officers from various cities in Guangdong Province visited Queen Elizabeth School in Hong Kong for a fruitful tour. The visit aimed to understand the school's current status and achievements in implementing STEAM education.

The delegation first listened to a briefing on the school's history and STEAM education implementation. Subsequently, they enjoyed an impressive drone performance by students, demonstrating the school's excellence in technology education.

The visitors engaged in friendly exchanges with award-winning students from various technology competitions, including the "Ding Ding InnoTech Competition," "International Physics Olympiad," "AI Weather Prediction Competition," and "Robomaster Challenge." The directors also personally experienced operating a Robomaster and expressed admiration for its human tracking function.

In the Design and Technology workshop, the delegation learned about students' various technology projects and experienced a flight simulator from the aviation learning program funded by the Quality Education Fund. During the biology lab tour, the directors participated in a DNA extraction experiment and learned about fingerprint analysis techniques.

Finally, the visitors toured the campus facilities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Queen Elizabeth School's learning environment. This visit not only deepened educational exchanges between the two regions but also provided valuable reference experiences for developing STEAM education in Guangdong Province.

The delegation highly praised Queen Elizabeth School's STEAM education achievements, recognizing the school's outstanding contributions to fostering students' innovation abilities and technological literacy. Both parties look forward to further strengthening exchanges and sharing ideas to jointly promote the development of STEAM education.
